San Pedro was founded between 1860-1870 by General Manuel Gutiérrez de la Concha and is a municipality of Marbella. It is in constant development and the town hall of Marbella has built an underground tunnel through the village to improve the traffic flow and to give it a new look (more greenery, less traffic) with the aim of pleasing residents and attracting more tourists. The construction of the tunnel was finished in January 2012 and they are now working on the landscaping.

In October this place vibrates for 7 days with the annual “Feria”. Everyone either joins the party on the street or participates in the procession on horses or wagons, with women dressed in typical Sevillana dresses and the men in their traditional outfits.
