Calahonda is also surrounded by forests and green spaces, making it ideal for walking, horse riding, mountain biking and buggy safaris.
There is a new coastal path, "Senda Litoral" ideal for an early morning jog or a nice walk. Along the route are a lot of small restaurants, some serving traditional sardines and tasty fresh fish. Plenty of places hire sun beds, making it easy to spend lazy days at the beach.
