Are you looking for views and the highest possible levels of tranquility and privacy?

The reason why the current owners built the house here, was the stunning location: on the hillside between Alozaina and Casarabonela. From here you can see the whole Guadalhorce Valley, all the way up to Málaga city. At night, with all the lights of Málaga in the distance, it gives you a "Beverly Hills" like feel.
During the day there are only the majestic views and tranquility of the National Park of the Sierra de las Nieves. With just enough villas nearby to provide a further sense of safety and community.
The build-quality of this villa is exceptional. The foundations are Earthquake Proof and the walls were built with extra-solid bricks. Just as anything else, from insulation to heat protection, the construction has been planned with excellent attention to detail.
The property has got its own well, with such an abundance of water, that the water was once used for bottled water. Being located at the flanks of the Sierra de las Nieves, not even the hottest or driest summer can hinder the permanent flow of water. For this reason, the owners were able to beautifully landscape the garden with many mature sub tropical plants.
Entering the hallway of the villa, the property feels light and airy with high ceilings, providing a real sense of space. Straight ahead is the full fitted kitchen with access to the breakfast room and the lounge, as well as to the tower room. The breakfast room has a wall of glass allowing the owners to enjoy beautiful views. There is also direct access to the pool from here. The lounge again is spacious with a central feature fireplace and french doors that open to the terrace, which wraps around the villa, overlooking the gardens. There are two bedrooms down stairs, both with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a large utility room, which realistically could be turned into a third bedroom. There is also a spacious office in the tower room, which again could be utilized as a bedroom.
Under the house you will find a very spacious room, that has been used as a garage for 2 cars. It can be used as a hobby room as well.
The property is connected to a neighbourly alarm system that the nearest neighbours use to inform and help each other.
Casarabonela is located at the foothills of Sierra Prieta, part of the Sierra de las Nieves. The air is clean and the views are stunning, due to the elevated position of the village. It is an ideal base for outdoor- and nature lovers. Hiking, biking, horse riding or just a walk through the mountains and forest, with views over the Guadalhorce valley and even the ocean, are the perfect way to relax and enjoy the piece and quietness of the beautiful surroundings.
Walking through the narrow whitewashed streets, you will discover the Moorish soul, combined with Christian elements and Roman remains. The village has a central church and many plazas and outside terraces where you can enjoy sunshine, local tapas and a drink. Also at night you can join the locals for a drink in one of the bars. They have the usual Andalusian customs and events; the annual feria, procession and a unique Easter celebration. Olives play a big part of their economy, which comes as no surprise when you see the olive groves surrounding the village.
At the highest part of town, the remains of the Arab Castle Casarabonela are visible, besides its historical value it is an exceptional viewpoint! The botanic garden (Jardin Andalusi) of Casarabonela is well known for its collection of cactus plants, there are 2.500 species from all over the world.
Surrounded by mountains, there is one road into the village and one road out. Casarabonela is a bit further off the beaten track, but still located only 40 minutes (47 km.) from Málaga and the airport. The beaches of the Costa del Sol are a 45 minutes (62 km.) drive.
